I guess Canada didn't get the updated interior until the 90s...

..lol I had another guy on CG say his 84 was an 89. I sent over a nice email explaining his car was not an 89 as it had the early interior. lets see if he changes his ad!

Hahah "tsunroof" with a silent T, love it. Let's all be honest here, his car deserves that price, as do all of ours. I can't think of a more undervalued car than the 944.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but calling him an idiot sort of drags down the whole community. Naive? Obviously. Idiot? Maybe... probably... ehh, I judged it harshly as well.

We have to at least pretend that we're holier than the Honda guys

He misrepresenting the car. If you are selling something, you have an obligation to provide an accurate listing. Come on... 6 years off?

Looks like the same car that was for sale last year for about 3500 just south of town.

I think its someone trying to do a quick flip at the start of driving season...

Dude doesn't even know miles from Km's...

No chance he gets that amount here in calgary

@ sausagehacker - I chose the term 'idiot' for good reason. I'm assuming (perhaps generously) that he's not deliberately misrepresenting the car and truly is naive, rather than listing it with malice aforethought. Nufy's right - that car has been on kijiji before, at a far more reasonable price. Believe it or not, the current listing price has INCREASED over the past week! I'd also like to add that any man who lists his car and blames his wife for having to do so has some misogynistic tendencies that perhaps need attention.

Hmmm... Shall we downgrade 'idiot' to 'clown'? Or upgrade to 'predator'?

I agree with brian19600 in that a seller does have an obligation (if only tacitly understood) to represent accurately.

Still, can't argue with the entertainment value!

Idiot: "someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way." (Wikipedia)

I don't think its the one you are thinking of.

Last year and through the winter a guy from High River had a 84 944 Coupe for sale.

Approx 130 Kms...

I think its that vehicle.

if it is the one you think of...it probably sold and again the guy is trying to do a quick flip.
