Hello again, '87 944 Auto Trans. I started noticing a rattle ling noise in front of the tranny. Is there another flex disc there also?

Are you noticing the noise at the trans or at the bellhousing that's bolted to the engine?

rear end noise

I put the car on ramps, got underneath while it was running and notice no noise behind the engine but the rattling noise in front of the trans. The previous owner stated that I should tighten the bolts on the drive coupler?

After reading the great reply's from everyone and doing my homework on the repair(s) it appears I have to remove everything under the car anyway so why not replace everything that was mention to avoid leaving something out and having to remove everything once again?
