Door Handle Lock Drums

I hav an 83 with manual locks. I found a pair of PORSCHE script handles witH electric locks. The lock drums are not the same so a direct swap is not happening. Does anyone know if you could have the drums out of the PORSCHE handles made to work or be adjusted by a locksmith with my current key?
