Bought my '88 924S in Nov. 1995 and in 19 years have put on 30,233 miles.

Garaged, 69,718 miles now and performance is like new.

Clutch replacement was only major repair. Most all replacement parts are OEM Porsche, Sachs and Bosch. Rennbay fuel line replacement. R12 AC.

Driven weekly on short trips to avoid the BIG 70K!

Once over 70K, my next goal is under 100K in 2038 at the 50 year diamond '88 924S celebration.
...when it will be valued at $2500....

Bought it in June of 2001 with 118,xxx miles, the odometer had been broken for several years, but not many miles were put on. Some of those that were, I had the pleasure. I attempted to fix the odometer, and it was good for 25 miles, but it quit again.

It was a DD for 9 years, averaging nearly 10K a year. It's north of 200K now, but how far north I know not. Still runs great. Rod bearing were changed in 2001, but they didn't need to be. It's been a pleasure to own it, much of which I can attribute to the fact that it has been quite light on the wallet.

Bought my 86 944na in...well 86 with 22 miles. Drove the crap out of it with a big grin on my face for three years and 50k miles. Finally unglued my ass from the seat and bought another daily driver. Still have it, still runs strong north of 250k miles. Has 80's company now (see sig).
