Denso 10P15E manifold orings .

arglebargel fricken rackin &#($ !!! Still going nuts trying to find some certain AC orings. Under the manifold of the Denso 10p15e are 4 orings, which I measure at 24 mm OD x 2.4 mm section. They were probably freekin black neoprene which would have done fine in R134 anyway ( the black buna are the ones that are usually replaced) but I wont reuse orings now that they are in & out & carried around a few days. Pelican lists THREE choices of a so called "23.8 x 2.4" in the green compo (999 707 439 41), which should be the size I need, but they insist on sending me, twice now , some 28 mm x 2.4mm. 28 OD. frickinrwackingipsfiddleARGHhhh. And this was after they put some "oring dectective" on the case to ask that I repeat my whole sad story, instead of simply referring to the fine picture I sent to TWO PEOPLE, and easily measuring what they had in the huge vat 'marked' 23.8mm (probably in drunken crayon script), and shipping something vaguely 23.8 ... No, we had to play drop-the-ball-fix-the-blame-eff-the-customer for 3 phone calls , 5 emails and a mere 1.5 weeks. Thus far the counter guys in my one light (six exits) town get that glazed deer in headlights look when I sought orings by application or dimension, (just a damn oring, thats all !!) . They are only skilled at pointing to the generic box of 'conversion' orings hangin on the end cap, 90% which are useless in any particular system imho. Question - has any one got a part chain store part number , etc , for the correct 10p15 compressor manifold oring ? I swear its about 24 mm ( give or take) by 2.4 mm Last edited by gtgt__bangbang; 06-28-2014 at 07:29 AM..

Hi again... O-rings are specified by ID, OD and C/S with a number that looks like #-### Here is a chart. And don't worry about the color, just the material. There is no color standard. I once bought some HNBR o-rings from here. I don't think that they had a minimum order. Last edited by notMyScreenName; 06-28-2014 at 10:36 AM..

You should be able to match it up at your local parts store. A Santech part number of MT0304 or MT0189 should yield results. It depends on the manifold composition, steel or aluminum. MT0189 is the correct oring for aluminum.

All the local part jocks only stock those abysmal ring kits or various non-fitting sizes. felt like an idjit when I finally arrived at The Fix; I went to a big AC shop with mine. duh. 101. They ran in back to the great hoard of orings and gave me a few. Wasnt worth the paper work to sell them. Pelican finally said they list orings by ID. Great for people with 'ring finger' measure tools I guess. I said "you should define that" . dammit. Last edited by gtgt__bangbang; 07-05-2014 at 10:29 PM..
