no start issue on a 951. full post on that forum below. just in case someone here has ideas.

Have you gaped the reference sensors correctly? If so I would borrow or purchase a known good ECU and give that a try. Seems like you have checked and done a good amount of trouble shooting already.

actually I regapped the sensor per Clark's garage.

tac inop, so tested with O scope. both speed and ref sensors generate nice signals, verified at the DME plug.

keep those suggestions coming.

bad coil.

on other post, I commented I had verified 12V to both coil leads. but had not fully tested as I could not find my test light last weekend.

found test light and first thing I checked was the coil. NEW coil, so not at the top of my suspect list.

going for a nice, long drive this morning.

I have never had a bad coil. It always came to something else. Good cheap fix.
