924 won't start

I have a 81 924 I was told that it was the cold start valve so I replaced that and it still doesn't start it gets gas all the way to the valve but has doesn't come through it any suggestions

Will it start on ether?

Did you replace the CSV with new or used?

If fuel is not coming out of the CSV, it could be any of the following:
- mechanical failure of the CSV
- eletrical failure of the CSV (Haynes has an ohm rating check)
- mechanical failure of the Thermo-Time Switch (TTS) (very unlikely)
- electrical failure of the TTS (Haynes has an ohm rating check)
- fault in the wiring between the TTS and CSV
