917 inspired shift knobs for 924/944/968
Hi!
A couple months ago, I had an updated version of the 917 styled shift knob that TRE was carrying listed in the Pelican Parts catalogs for the 911 crowd. I have a few friends that have 924's, 944's, 968's and had been asking me to adapt the bushing to fit the stamped, rectangular shifter for these cars. I was finally able to get a pre-production run of the bushings done and now have a number that are for sale. At the moment, they are not designed with the shift boot in mind, so that's something you would have to get creative with.  A single set screw holds the knob tight to the shifter.  At the moment, these are not carried in the PP catalog but can be ordered through pelican with a little help from me. I have a custom order number that can be used. Please feel free to ask questions, comment, whatever. Post here or PM. Once they are included in the catalog, I'll post the link to the page in the catalog. Cheers!  Dave

Whoops! Sorry guys. I try and check the threads, but they fall through the cracks from time to time....
I wish I had checked in earlier... My contact at Pelican that deals with the catalog is on vacation and will be back in the office Tuesday the 2nd. I'll send him and email and try and get a part number worked out for you guys.... Thanks for you patience!
