Turbo Swap: Motor mounts

In the process of swapping a turbo motor into my 86 N/A, but was wondering what people have done about motor mounts.

To start with, my current motor mounts are not blown. However, when I did some searching I was confused as to whether there was a difference between turbo and NA mounts. If there is, than I would obviously have to get either OEM or OE equivalent mounts (none of that cheap stuff), or maybe something like a semi-solid from Lindsey or CEP.

So first question: Is there a difference between NA and turbo?

And Second: With OEM running around $200 a piece, what is the consensus on Meyle, Corteco/Rein, and CEP or Lindsey Ultra mounts?

Lastly: Should I bother if my mounts aren't blown?

Plans for the car in the coming years: Daily Driver for at least the next 2 years, some AutoX and RallyX, DE, more power.

Turbo and N/A mounts are the same.

The OEM are $$$ but will also last the longest out of most aftermarket choices. Have not ridden in a car with semi-solid but for a daily driver i wouldnt go this route.

I purchased a set of Rein mounts a few years ago and they were the same as OEM, just with the Porsche part # and stamps ground off the rubber. If you can still find them that would be my recommendation.

If your current mounts are not blown and your trying to stay within a budget, i would just leave them. Though you could argue there is no better time than to do it now!

Precisely what I was thinking, although I'd like to just get everything together and running finally. Just curious, what makes it especially a great argument to replace them on a 951? Just the extra load on them compared to an NA?

Extra load, extra heat, extra PITA to install after the fact?
