Troubleshooting 968 Inoperative Speedometer/Odometer
 
I have been T/S this for some time. Neither Speedo nor Odo works, I have already checked gears and they are fine so now believe that there is a problem in the signal path. Problem is I cannot find much info on where the pickup sensor for the speedometer is located, lots of info for 944s but not for the 968s. Anybody have any experience with this?

i always seem to forget this one, but i'm pretty sure it's at the front right wheel/hub.

It's one of the ABS sensors, there is a signal line from the ABS brain to the cluster, you could check it for a signal.
