I was just about to remove the bumper cover. How can I get any work done. Nice and fresh in the booth and she came to cool off so I don't want to bother her

Time flies when you're having fun. Finally got some paint down. Single stage white, wet sanded smooth(800)then clear coat, wet sand and polish (2000-2500). I'm using Farecla regular cut paste with a little heavy cut mixed in and it brings out a beautiful deep shine quickly. Then a fine cut paste to finish it off. Gonna paint all the pieces over the long winter. Doesn't look like I'm going to have it out this year. Picked up a nice 87 S4 in real nice shape, not a spec of rust,117,000 km and runs great.

WHOA... now a 928? excellent...

good to see your progress.

now that track season is over and no major projects on the other cars this winter, I am hoping to start making progress on my 930.

keep up the great work Raymond.

Right on,thanks Bob. We're getting there slowly. Not enough time in the day. 928 was a lot of fun driving home. Need to get plates and drive it before the roads get salty.

I love my 928, been my preferred daily driver in all but winter snow/salt times. great AC in the summer and only one that has working AC.

but really need to sell one of these cars and that will probably be the one.

just too many now and not enough time and $$$.

you know I'll be watching your thread.

Oh ya,very nice looking 928. Mine is also auto, stick would be nice but the car is still a lot of fun to drive. They have a real nice hard pull even with the old cats plugged up. I'm already dreaming up big plans for this 928. For now we're gonna just drive it. I want my lovely wife to have some fun driving it. Even if I make the seat in the 944 adjustable I still don't think I can convince her to drive it. Looking forward to see the 930 come to life Bob. Cheers

Almost done with all the bits and pieces. I can paint the doors, bumper, hood, defuser, sun roof, etc, now that the weather is warming up.decided to go with a glass windshield as they (lexan) are illegal on a street car. I'm really taking my time finishing it off cause I love building it as much as I do driving it. I'll keep updating as it's getting finished

Raymond,
good to see an update. I have made a little progress on my 930, but with 4 other cars to keep running dont get much time for the 930. but planning to retire end of june so hope to have it done by next spring.

off to the first DE/track event end of april. got a new wideband O2 sensor that reads correctly and a recalibrated boost gauge. so far been running stock .8 bar (~10lb), and am turning up the boost to 1.0/15lb. whoa. could really feel the increase. cant wait to see what it does on the track.

keep at it.

Thanks Bob,that's great. I fired up the car the other day to pull the front facing in and couldn't believe how nice it sounds and revs up. Love to take a drive south of the border and do a cross country drive with a few track runs along the way when I finish the car. Cheers
