If there a use/need/demand for a tech article (with pics) that covers replacing and/or retensioning the belts (with the tool)? AFJuvat |
AF.... why you ask questions you already know the answer to??? I think your going to get an overwelming number of 'YES' responses. But for me... I still would want my first attempt at the belts to have an expert like you actually present. It's hard to get a picture of technique. But this being a computer world, some of the more difficult details could be covered by small videos also.

I bought a 944/924S maintenance video tape that seems okay, has anyone else viewed this tape and have any opinions of it's worth and/or the information on it? Should we try to get the Pelican folks to stock it?
FWIW I am preparing to convert my 1984 sunroof (with one broken finger) over to the newer sunroof system and I plan on taking digital pictures of the process. {thanks to Hugh for selling me the system off his parts car, the check is on it's way, no really!}:D |
Any info like this would be gratefully received, I'm sure i'm not alone.

Maintenance Video
Greetings from a 944 Video,
I purchased the video on Ebay. It was reported to be an original, but I discovered that it is a copy. In any case, the quality was fairly good. The video was very detailed with regard to adjusting the timing belt and replacing the rollers. I would recommend it as a must-have for anyone considering doing this work themselves. I hope this helps! Andrew (in Portland) |
