Brake Hoses
Hey fellas, quick question...
I am replacing my brake hoses with the stainless steel variants from Lindsey Racing. Should I reuse the spring protectors? Search yielded nothing. |

On the stock brake hoses up front their are some "springs" that wrap around the length of the hose to protect it, I would think the stainless steel mesh does that job but I was just wondering what other people had done.

I've run the braiding lines for 5 years without anything on the outside of the lines. No wear from rubbing on the springs. Just make sure you are using flare nut wrenches so you can tighten the fitting properly and get the "alignment" of the brake line so that it will not rub on anything.
