I'm looking for a machine shop to bore and sleeve a 2.5 motor I'm building. I live near Chicago but will ship or drive to right place . I'm working on a 2.8 stroker ..

Give the guys at CS Motorsports in Lannon, WI a call and ask who they use. They work on a lot of the 944's in the area including some from Chicago for PCA racers.

If you are doing a 2.8 you will need Carillo rods to clear the block with the longer stroke.
I have a set I'll ship to you for $700 if interested.
