S2 Front Spoiler Adjustment

Hi,

Ok.. My front spoiler has sagged on the passenger side.. and there is a gap been the spoiler and body work - I can put my fingers through.

Can I get access to the bolts to adjust from the front ( remove a spot / head light ) or do I need to remove the whole lower lining and go from the bottom ? ( Just got the lower lining all fixed nicely in place with new fastners etc... )

Any one done this before you help / thoughts as always would be appreciated..

( Also, stuffed one of my front CUP wheels on a pot hole last week so its an expensive week !!!!! - Tyre and Wheel ( will get it
straightened.. )

Thanks in advance,

Simon

Everything is accessable from the bottom chin of the spolier, ot from the wheel wheel. You should not need to take anything off. There should be a 10mm nut on both sides of the inner fenders that hold the spolier onto the fender lip. One probably just fell off.l

Thanks for the reply..

Nope.. The whole spoiler has dropped.... The 10mm bolts are in place at the sides..which is putting stress on the spoiler..

But from the front.. I can put my fingers in the gap just below the lights...

The question is....

The spoiler is attached to the bumper ( large lump of steel ) and this attachs to the Car with what appear to be bolts. Do these allow for adjustment.. It would appear from looking through gap that the mounting brakets allows for the bumper to slide up and down on the mounts.. just trying to work out the best way to
get at them.. without taking the whole front to pieces..

I think the pot hole that stuffed my passenger alloy must of loosened the nuts allowing it do drop... This was one monster
hole and it was right around a bend....

Thanks,

Simon

No, the spoiler fits in the gap. Like a channel and groove setup. You need to remove all on the fasteners around the front lip and then fit the spolier back into the groove, then attach it.
