Sort of odd question...
 

Automotion/Perf. Products sells an official Porsche illuminated key blank for the 944. I really like how this key looks (mine is a crappy generic key with a VW/Audi stamp on it) - even at $30 - but what confuses me is that emblems are sold separately at $9. Does this mean that the key blank doesn't have a Porsche emblem on it? It damn well better for $30.

It does come with one - though they have a habit of falling out quickly.

I took mine out and then super glued the crest in.

Do they sell JUST the head, without the actual blank key? I really like how this bad boy looks (like a real factory car's key, instead of my replica-looking POS), but it seems like a pretty superficial product for $30...

... then again, if they don't sell just the head, I will probably buy the key blank anyhow.

I don't think they sell just the head, but the key is great I have one, just make sure you use really strong glue to reglue the emblem.

Is it available anywhere else for less than $30?
