Tried a number of times to open Rennlist today. Keep getting "Website not responding"

Anyone else?

I never liked Rennlist anyhow. I'm a Pelican man.

Porsche Crest

It is the website that has elevated OT ranting to an art form. If you don't believe me go there and do a search for "AMAF" or "best looking wife".
Do I smell flames?
Seriously the site is very informing and somewhat amusing at times.

BTW I just don't get this whole loyalty to a website thing, whatever!

Rennlist has about five times the traffic. See the same types of posts; "I got a new 944", "My car will not start", "Should I sell".

With the higher traffic you don't see the thread stay on the first page long so someone expecting a reply will just repost the subject without finding the original thread. Happens here too but not as often.

Seems that more Rennlisters are from the north east. But maybe that's just a vocal group that stands out.

I'm not bound to any one board. However I like the way this one has been programmed a tad more that the way Rennlist has been programmed.

This place feels more Canadian if you know what I mean...

There are no vendors trying to be nice and polite to everyone here, competing for image/customer base IMO. However I feel like the avarage poster here is maybe a bit younger. I get more of a ricer vibe from this board but I bet the reverse is true.

I try to check both, I go through phases of which site I post at more often...

Ricer?

Geesh. Wish I was a bit younger!

Sorry, but this board seems very young to me, I don't think I can suffer one more rice beater story. Rennlist I find more technical expertise, but as with anything you have to filter out the ones that know what they are talking about and the ones that just think they do.

I get a young vibe from this board too... I'm always surprised when I find out that someone here is older than me.

I don't post at Rennlist, but I browse it often. I think as of late this board has become a lot more mature than the guys over at Rennlist. Lately it is more common to find good technical info here, and more useless arguing and whatnot over at Rennlist. Not saying I don't like Rennlist- some of the stuff over there is hilarious(ex- AMAF). But it just seems more mature over here at Pelican as of late. When I first joined Pelican, Rennlist was by far more mature and technical-oriented. Funny how things change.

Maybe you need to download some Java? I forgot where I downloaded mine, are you using an antique O.S.?
