I spoke with Broadfoot racing via email. the following are my questions and thier responses. Can anyone verify these claims? Any other drawbacks that are not mentioned here that should be considered
Are these for use on street cars? -Yes, we have a lot of street car customers using the pulleys. Would I need different belts or is it a just a matter of retensioning. - You can use the same belt. How do these pully help horespower. -Under-drive pulleys have been used in every form of racing for many years to free up useable hp by turning the components slower which uses less engine power and sends more to the rear tires. Independent testing has shown on a given 150 hp engine a 9 hp gain and 9 foot lb. of torque. Will there be a decrease in the performance of my AC, Alternator..etc. as a result of these. -Only slightly at idle. Any thoughts on these is appreciated . It sounds like a real good thing. |

If you like 10 watt head lights and your radio volume at a wisper go right ahead. Race cars don't have these items to power, just the DME system.
