Rough Idle

So trying to get some feedback and direction. I have a normally aspirated 1986 944. It has had new wires, cap, rotor, timing belts etc all done.

It idles like c@#$, oil pressure is good. It starts right up and wont stall. Idle is rough up to about 2200 then smooths out but power seems to die off at about 3000 rpm.

I have already cleaned the AFM and tested it with a meter. What's next? Thanks in advance for any direction anyone can provide.
