Fuel seep
I replaced the gasket for the fuel sender on my 924S and I still have gasoline seeping through the top of the sending unit, apparently through the terminals

Yes, replace the fuel sending unit.
If you grab the male brass terminal and it moves the insulation has cracked. Fuel will leak out and could lead to a short on the grey metal top of the fuel sender or touch something else under the grey metal top. There is no fix as it is a factory pressed connector. J_AZ

Gas tank repair epoxy?
A new sending unit would be the ideal repair ($133.75 at Pelican).
Most auto parts stores sell fuel tank repair epoxy which may work, if you are on the cheap and depending on the particulars of your leak. I have no experience with gas tank repair epoxy so use your best judgement if you try that. Whenever using such things surface prep (mostly cleaning) is important. Good luck.
