rear emblem colors vs body color.. help?

HI Guys I have an 86 944 in the silverish color.. what color emblem should I put on the back?... black or silver?...nothiong is there now........Todwic....socal.. ae?....help..

Methinks the silver wouldn't show up so well on a silver background...I'd go with the black,

Dark colors are supposed to come with the grey badge, and the lighter color cars with the black badge. Porsche's sliver would originally have a black badge.

Is that your car?.. looks good black. I have the rear panel between the tail lights that says Porsche. Is it supposed to be illuminated?........what does the rear badging say?.. 944,... 944S... thanks Todwic..

No not my car, my car's decal was painted over. This is my car. The middle part is an after market add-on, and I think they can light up

Talking Light panel/Emblem

Black is right for your car. The aftermarket light panel can be lit with the proper light harness which taps into th rear light wiring, but BE WARNED when I tell you to use a low wattage bulb like a 2W, as a higher wattage will overheat the lens, causing it to bubble!

They are Prime wheels with Falken 215R17-45's Zrated type of guys. The P.O. went thru considerable expense having them customized to fit the car.
