New no-start situation

My '88 924S died suddenly on the track in Phoenix last month. I hauled it back on the trailer, and after zillions of hours of due-diligent research, the car still wouldn't start. Did an engine-out reseal, new sensors, clutch, belts, plugs, wires, relays, etc., last summer, and, none of the traditional reasons for this panned out. So, out of frustration, and too much beer, decided to take a look at the cam gear to see if the Woodruf key was toast. A few minutes into the procedure, noticed that the rotor set-screw was missing!

After a long search in the garage, found a screw, slapped it all back together, and car started right up. Have a new starter arriving soon to replace the one I just wore out. Add this to the list. Dave.
