transaxle oil

Is there a way to add oil to the transaxle without going through the filler plug?

1) Buy a new plug.

2) Weld a 17 mm bolt into the old plug. The heat of welding will loosen the plug. Remove the plug.

3) Add oil.

4) Install new plug. Tighten to 17 ft lbs.
