Thanks for the input. I guess it's time to say goodbye to the 944.

Second (here it comes), if you want to truely fulfill your need for speed, take it to the track. There Z-man, I said it for you...snip... However, for an adrenaline junkie like myself, it's like a kid going to Disney World for the first time. I visited VIR last weekend (as a spectator) during a PCA DE and I honestly had forgotten just how much I missed it. Rest assured, it won't be long before I'm back out there again.

Regards,
Clark

Clark: well said!
There are two reasons why I keep saying "take it to the track:"
1. It's safer to keep high speeds off the street.
2. The thrill of driving your Porsche on the street PALES in comparison when you put your car on the track! Clark: good analogy with being a kid at Disney for the first time.

I've been a car enthusiast for a long, long time. Went to college in the middle of PA, and I'd ride on the back roads around campus 2-3 times a week. Scared myself many times. Always wished I could be a "race car driver," but never thought I would ever have an opportunity to drive on a race track until I learned about PCA and their DE program.

If driving your Porsche is something you enjoy, then there's no greater thrill of driving your car close to it's limits in an arena that can handle those limits!

There, I said my track speech. Crap! I promised myself I wouldn't this time... Oh well....
