?? Regarding Quaiff ATB limited slip differential
 

We have recently installed a Quaife Limited slip differential and are unsure of how to test this. It seems as though we cannot get the two wheels to spin independently of each other. Is the Quaif edifferent from other LSD's in that sense that it takes much more torque to break them loose?

What exactly are you trying to test?

Have you called Quaife or read about how that type diff is supposed to behave?

I have heard of them, but have no idea how they operate.

1) Find a gravel or dirt parking lot. The criteria is low friction.

2) Put car in first gear, accelerate hard.

3) If you have two stripes in the gravel, your limited slip is working.
