a very custom 944 on craigslist
Yep that is the untidiest 924 engine installation I've ever seen
I want that dash!!!
I'd pay all of $5.
sweeeeeeeeet
That thing is perfect if you're just looking to put around town. Who knows, somewhat might pay $5k on the spot as prices have gone up noticeably in the last couple years. That engine seriously needs about 30 minutes of intense cleaning!
Ragtop and 924 engine in a 944 is certainly rare |
Lol, $5000!
Its not a 944. Its a 924 with 944 add-on fenders (no side markers), 924 turbo hood and nose panel, and awful fiberglass rear valance and an automatic to boot. It is not a vert. It is probably an aftermarket canvas sunroof. I'd like to see the VIN. I bet its a 77 or 78 924. Somebody really chopped that poor car up.
That is a pathetic mess, as stated a 924 with various pieces added on. The fake Convertible top looks bad on a Buick, to do that to a Porsche is just well .. Awful. If there is a car Hell the person who created this should go there.
Garbage !!!!!!! Needs to be in a dumpster.
You want to really see a mess, check this heap out. 924gts Wannabe, chopped the roof, and other questionable stuff done here.
20-25% leakdown on all 4 cyl. Rat's nest of wiring. Interior is horrible, Nose panel is a look a like 924gt with the door vent used as the nose venting. This car is 1 town over from me and I still cannot get myself to even waste the gas to take a look at it. EDIT: He actually took down the pictures showing the ratty interior, paperwork with the leakdown test, and the shops notes which noted the wiring mess. 1979 porsche 924 turbo widebody |
