No start along with few other issues.

Tried to move the car today and I believe in not getting any spark. Since I was alone and didn't have tools with me it's an assumption. Trying to crank the car iv got fuel pressure abd the pump engages. Motor rotates. Tried my spare coil still nothing. I'm leaning toward bad dme. I have a spare it was just 45 min away. Or possibly reference sensor. As it's not in great shape. Will try dme first. Any other thoughts on what would cause no spark. Is there anything in the a-f plugs thatbdeals with firing? Could one of those wires be broken?
Other issues is that I have no warning lights at all. No low battery or oil. Or anything. I have highbeam light when flashing but not constant. And turn signal indicator. Any ideas?
Abd the really weird probably ground related issue. When I turn the hazards on the oil gauge and fuel gauge bounce in rather with the hazards.... I'm at a loss abd beyond frustrated. Every time I solve one issue 5 more creep out of nowhere. Sorry for the rant like post guys. Been a long hot day.

So, what year is your 944? Sounds like you haven't tried much YET, except for the coil.

The best advice I have is to step back, enjoy a cup of hot tea, or cold beer, or legal high, while you admire her and pace around her, and approach this problem like a hobby. Remember to take a deep breath.

If you hear the fuel pump, you are probably getting fuel. As for spark and air, it would help to know how this problem came about and what did you repair just before the problem occurred??

83. Is the year. As for what I repaired. No much honestly installed a headlight upgrade harness. Isn't the issue since it only is connected to it self abd takes trigger from the highbeam switch and has its own ground. I started putting the relay holders back on the fusebox to most it again. Which is why I think it might have to do with the fuse panel. Put the dash back in. Hooked the gauges up. Had tach bounce this morning but no start then stopped having tach bounce. I'm stumped. As per what others said on previous posts I tried disconnecting the afm, coolant temp sensor, pulled the coil checked the connections at speed and reference sensors. They have contact I'll check for continuity and resistance next time I work on it. Pulled computer disconnected battery. Let it sit. Reinstatalled everything still no spark or bounce. Have loads of fuel pressure. No apparent vacume leak.

So you are sure there is no spark?

I'm all but sure of it. There is no attempt to fire no sputter but it cranks fine. Rails getting fuel. It's normally hard to start battery is on the way out but until it's almost finished I don't see the point in buying another. I pulled my spare computer out so once I get back down to the car I'll be able to test that. If it is awesome. If not I'll be ordering new reference abd speed sensors. And retracing the while ignition wiring while I wait.

Start with the basics:

1. Do you get +12v at the coil?

2. Do you get +12v at the injectors?

If you don't have tach bounce, you shouldn't have the fuel pump energized! Put in the 3 wire dme relay jumper and see what happens.
