944 engine swap

just bought a 1987 n/a 944 engine and am putting it in my 1986 chassis anybody see any problems with this?

plug-and-play direct swap
1986 chassis wont have the wiring for the 1987 oil pan level sensor though, not a problem.

thanks V2 yes I had discovered the oil switch to dash got this engine with 60K for $250. Spun the #2 bearing twice on road course and then got schooled on dry sump LOL now putting it together for my granddaughter( insurance nor included)

So you're putting a dry sump in it? IMO that's not necessary for a street car.

no sorry I found out about the dry sump AFTER I spun the #2 bearing the 2nd time LOL. The engine was just to expensive to rebuild again so It has been setting for 10-12 years. My granddaughter just turned 16 so I offered it to her and found this motor so the kid gets a 944.
