Need a wiring diagram for 1989 944 NAa
Been chasing electrical gremlins in my 1989 944 NA 2.7L 8 valve engine. I may or may not have most of them resolved - I'll know in a few days when I install some parts that are on the way - but in the process of working through it I found a couple of almost fried but still connected wires. Insulation melted, that sort of thing. I don't know where the other ends of these wires go or what they do, and I want to fix them.
I have not been able to find wiring diagrams for my car anywhere. I need the kind that show wire colors. Right now I particularly need the wiring diagram for the alarm system, which I am trying desperately to delete, because there's something wrong with it. If I can't successfully delete it I may have to replace all the parts in it with new ones just to get the car to run. I'm reading that the 1989 model is the most difficult to successfully delete this system, but that's the life I have chosen and I need to get to the bottom of it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA |

WSM- Work Shop Manual Electrical Vol 5-88 models onward.
Most (all) online illegal full downloads have been taken away/blocked for this book. Search may have the alarm diagrams here or RL. Many have had the same problem. WEB-Subscription services have the manual-search. I have seen a CD/DVD with the manuals and parts book on ebay occasionally. J_AZ
