Video: Replacing wishbone

Hi,

we made a new video. The video gives you a step by step tutorial how to replace the aluminum wishbone at your Porsche 944. This repair is needed when the ball joint of the wheel support is worn. Following the proposed method, the setup of the caster is practically conserved.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd0ujzaENHc

The video has a German soundtrack, but English subtitles are added to YouTube. If you don't see them by default, watch the video directly at YouTube and press the subtitles button below the frame.

Enjoy it,

Jürgen

Man, I love your videos. The repair on the broken timing chain adjuster mount on the 16valve head was awesome.. How is that repair holding up?

Hi,

yes you are right, this was a great repair and it was the starting point of all the repair videos. I still have this S2, it is the car in this video, and the engine is fine. Meanwhile I run 40000 miles without problems at the cylinder head.

Greeetings,

Jürgen

That's great. I ran across a very NICE '88 S down in New Orleans several years ago that was for sell pretty cheap. It had the same failure but I wasn't sure I could repair it without getting another head. I should have bought the car anyway but if I should happen to run across another one that can be repaired like that, I'll probably get it. Keep up the great videos.
