The seller has had it on Pelican for awhile -

1993 Porsche 968 Cabriolet 6 Speed - Oak Green Metallic, Low Miles

He has since removed the price but believe he was initially looking for $16.5k.

I have no idea about value. It looks like a nice example.

Ok, thanx. Did not know that. I like the car, but the market is quite invisible when it comes to these cars. Even being a 968, that sounds a little steep. A 944 S2 looks like a better deal.

Being 1 of 14 in that color, I think the asking price is reasonable for its exclusivity and it's options.

As a bonus over an S2, it uses 134A and a MAF. In my opinion, the extra ponies and the broader torque band equates to more driveability on the mountain twisties. If I did not own a cobalt blue (1 of 27), I would be buying this one.

Thanx Thomas. Even tho it's a ragtop? My understanding is rags are worth a few k's less than the coupe.

perfect for the rich gentleman who needs a convertible, and space for his wife, and two cases of wine for the weekend and who has 100 grand to spend on braces, super charger, suspension work and audio gear.

and as far as i know there is no other car in existence that this could be made from for that cost.

I think cockerpunk is on to something

I suggest asking on the 968 section on RL, its a small community but they are definitely in tune with the market.

lol - too funny punk

ragtops are generally worth $2k MORE not less than a similarly optioned and condition hardtop. the problem with ragtops is that the interiors are often sun damaged. that lowers the value quickly.

prices are climbing, and the lower mileage and clean examples are climbing fast. the higher mileage cars are dropping.

That is a nice one. It looks well cared for. Unique with the color. I would say it is a $15k-$18K 968.
