That actually sounds about right. I live in the same area as the seller, and I just looked at a 91 C2 Turbo at a dealer (i.e., overpriced) with 74K miles for $38K. The prior owner lost his job, as did the owner of another 911 they had for sale. Overall, Porsche prices seem to be down by about 10-20%. Great buyer's market, which is why I'm looking for a 944 now.

I think I'd rather have a 930 for $30K than a 965 for $40K... then again, I'd much rather have a 993TT for $50K. The 964s just seem a bit too, i don't know, "in between," you know what I mean? They aren't classic, they aren't modern, they're just there.

I find 964s to be the least-desirable 911 model.

I just read a message on Rennlist from a guy with a 80 911SC, he looking to possibly trade for an S2 or 951.

Thing looks pretty OK, some paint work , and it no longer has something refered to as a "heat exchanger." But it looked like a good deal if you wanted to get into a 911.

No heat exchanger = no heat in the car.

Isn't a bad price at all - Figure it should go for the mid to high 30's

41,000 is a little excessive IMHO
