What else do I need for fuel lines - Have LR rail only
So I recently bought my 951S, which is running the Wolf3d V400 EMS, 18PSI boost on a 60mm turbo, and much more... but it has the stock rail and lines.
Im not sure when the lines were replaced last, although they probably were, but theres a fuel pressure gauge/what appears to be a regulator, mounted inline with the current regulator also... but its mounted with hose clamps on the lines, and that concerns me. as one of the spare parts with the car, I received a Lindsey racing fuel rail. that's all. no legs for it, no lines, nothing. so my options are at this point, to just replace the lines, and get rid of this extra regulator/gauge, and not use the LR rail, OR to buy the rest of what I need, which im not sure. LR sells the lines, but that wont get me hooked up to their rail. theres a 180 bend that I see in all the LR rail pictures that they do not sell, except with kits with the rail. I guess the question is, is it worth it to go to the LR rail when I don't need it? Its clearly running fine with the stock regulator and dampener. I just hillclimbed the heck out of it, no issues. so why do the LR rail? are the braided aftermarket lines not enough to make me feel better? it appears if I want the LR rail, im stuck ordering the full kit and having a leftover rail, because they don't sell the pieces needed to use it. If I just go with the lines, and keep the stock FPR, FPD and rail, I can order thelines from Larts for a better price, then get the braided little jumper from LR, and sell the LR rail. ideas?

I would only use the stock/OEM jumper line, not a braided one. Those have been known to fail.
I would think that you could find an equivalent to the 180 degree part at a hydraulic shop. http://parkerstorephx.com/

You have a Fuel Pressure Regulator and a Fuel Pressure Damper in your stock 944/951 setups. The damper is there to smooth out the pressure fluctuations caused by the pump.
Some people remove the damper without issues, YMMV.

I know all that. There's a second fpr in line it appears. In addition to both the stock fpr and fpd.

That fuel line looks awfully close to the cam box = ton 'o heat, I hope you have full coverage insurance
![]() The sin's of previous owners past appears... On a good note, remove one fpr and keep the other for a spare. It also seems the PO installed new speed/ref sensors but forgot to mount them to the sensor bracket. If you keep the aftermarket FPR, relocate it to the cruise control location by the battery, that way if any gas that leaks, it won't cause an engine fire. The more I look at the pictures the more I see wrong. Your silicone vacuum hoses on the intake manifold is about to pop off, it is bearly hanging on for dear life, get some tie wraps and finish what the PO started on the other vacuum lines.

So what is factory fuel pressure, can I just check fp, see if it's stock, then go back to stock configuration assuming it is?

The funny part is. It's still running stock fuel pressure. Inline. It's in the wrong spot to make a difference...

That should be fot your factory wastegate vac line. Look at the diagram under the hood

The first one lowers the fuel pressure to what it is set to, and the second one can only adjust to a lower value than the first.
So a stock FPR in front of an aftermarket one set for high FP, will still result in stock fuel pressure.

![]() Probably too late to help with this, but I have 180 Fuel Line Fittings, though only in Metric.......... ![]() I also offer the 944 fuel rail jumper........ ![]() ......as a Re-Hose of your original. It fits as factory for about 1/2 the cost. I do not have spare cores to offer them exchange, but will fit new E-85 rubber hose to your original if you send it to me. Please email me for details. I definitely need that hose, its the worst one of the fuel lines. is that one the same for the LR rail?
I found a place to do the other custom lines, but its not going to be cheap
