Porsche Crest climate control

okay i have a 944s 87 that im having problems with the control dont no if its short to ground or what but every time i put a new control it burns it and stops working if there is some 1 that has had the same problem can u tell me wat i can do to fix it i will post pic

You probably have a short in the AC compressor clutch. Try unplugging that when you install the climate control unit.

Also, the burned land on the climate control unit can be replaced with a length of wire by soldering it in.

I dont under stand about the cruz control and would i have to remove plug with the the 5 studs

You can replace the clutch without having to replace the compressor.
