WTB: Canadian DRL Relay for '90-91 S2 or 968

1991 S2 here

Looking to buy the Canadian relay that allows for daytime running fog
lights in a '90 or '91 S2 (relay G18) or a 968 (relay G26).

Part # 944 615 123 00 (NLA from Porsche)

Any Canadian S2/968 parters? Or is there an equivalent VW/Audi relay?

Looking at the wiring diagram for the fog lights on the 968, it looks like the G26 is nothing more than a G11 plus a diode. Perhaps you could duplicate the function of the relay by adapting a G11 relay (which is a cheap/standard 141 951 253 B) by adding a diode.

The rest of the wiring is left as an exercise for the student.

Yes, good eye. Actually it's a 431 951 253 G (381) relay that has the diode.

But I just discovered that I already have a relay in my G18 position and
it's for the S2 factory alarm, and not documented on the lid of my fuse box.
So putting the Canadian G18 relay is a no-go.

I guess I have to modify my G11 and/ or G12 relay in some way.

I just did this mod to the G6 bridge for DRL fogs. Excellent.
