Question about fuel injectors

I have a leaky fuel injector and I decided that I would replace it wil a new one. I have seen that there is an injector for the early 944's and a different one for the latter ones (85.5+). What is the difference between the two injectors?

they are not interchangable.

mounting size is different, seals are different, voltage is different.

Voltage is different???

Then why does all the current for the injectors on all the 944's and 924S's and 951's and 968's come throught the same DME relay?

Possibly you are thinking of the flow rates????

(Yes, I'm at work!!!)

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?
