tailight gasket?
do 944 use a seal or gasket ? Cannot find in parts fische.

I don't think there's a part number for this. It's a gooey gasket adhesive. I resealed my tail lights just a couple weeks ago. I used 3M "super weatherstrip and gasket adhesive," and it's very similar. Gets the job done.

3M seals taillights fine
I don't recall the exact 3M sealant product that I used (see previous post for one possible solution) but I'm happy to report that it hasn't leaked since I reinstalled the tail lights after a paint job 4 years ago. Just ensure you have a good bead of sealant on them...

ok , that clears it up then. the tailight i removed had it on it but i have body damage around taillight and wasnt sure if someone was trying to compensate water leak. Thank You . Merry Christmas
