OT: You've got to be kidding

This made the news all the way down here: kids in the States are suing MacDonalds for making them fat??? Oh COME ON!!! They should be suing their parents ffs! MacDonalds everyday from the age of 4?!?!?!?! No wonder the kid has a weight problem. If they win, I'll eat my hat (low fat content).
How do people get away with suits like this in the States?!?!?

Yea, I heard about this last week. Take a look at the kid and the parents and you'll understand the problem. I agree that this is an utterly ridiculous suit. It has very little basis. Sadly, I think McDonald's will end up paying these idiots off before it ever gets near a court room. If I were McDonald's I would pay for the kid to go to a gym and have a personal trainer tear him apart.

There was a suit here where a burglarar fell through a sky light and hurt himself and sued the owner of the house and won. True story. There are like degrees of liability, burglarar 90% liable, home owner 10% liable. Thus, $100000 suit, burglarar gets $10000. Forgive spelling errors.

I hope they get Judge Seamus Mccaffery, the judge at Veterans Stadium, in Philadelphia, he's a Major Dick. That'll teach those Fat Brats to blame someone for their parents laziness and neglect.
But yeah I'd go for Judge Judy as a runner up, or maybe Judge Ito.. he'd be cool to....Muhahhaaaaaaa!!!..

And how many of US sign up for jury duty? Or better yet how many of us weasel out of having to do jury duty?

Okay, putting away soapbox

P.S. Not directed at drew personally

I work in the court systems (programmer) and man, you wouldn't believe the suits that get filed. Like the skylight suit......these suits are filed all the time.

Hey, I ate a Big Mac when I was 12.....maybe I can get in on the class suit, eh??

Greedy idiots....

If any burglar falls through any type of anything into my home--that's one D-E-A-D mother effer--seriously.

Why should I let him live if he'll just come back and sue me after trying to rob or possibly harm me and my family -- EFF THAT!

I live sucka free.

that's how I feel, it wouldn't cost you anything if you just killed him. I know it's a little harsh but I have no respect for criminals, and he wasn't stealing bread to feed his family. I'm getting pissed so I'll stop now.
