weird question about 944 fans II

can they be swapped? I've just discovered that one of mine is dead (the closest to the thermostatic switch) and am struggling to find a replacement here in Lebanon. But there are plenty on ebay from the UK. Thing is, they are all what i think is the primary fan (passenger side) which has a connector on its rear. Could i buy one of these and put it on the drivers side? Both mounts look identical but......

thanks for your patience and help and apologies for those who pointed out that i had originally posted it in the wrong forum.

On series 2 cars with two fans, they are both identical. Make sure that you wire them properly, or you will have problems.

if you can, look at the parts diagram for your model to check for the same part number.

swap fans to see if it is the fan or something else.

there have been posts of being able to insert the electrical plug backwards so check for proper rotation also.

The larger blade count fans are a direct plug and play upgrade.
