Black Interior. I need a (new) shifter boot. Current one is sorta beat, and the shifting is loosey goosey. other than that, usual wear marks.. the backseat is perfect....go figure.. hehe..

Yeah the (is it Silver) color is cool.. I like that ld Spyder silver from the 50's that's WAYCOOLER than anything that I've ever seen.. it looks like it's 20ft deep .. hehe..

Beautiful car, Frank. You are lucky enough to own a Sapphire Metallic 944. The color was used only on 83-86 models.

Here is a low-quality picture of mine.[IMG]

lol...

That's my old driveway. Backing up that incline and looking out the rear window, all you'd see is blue sky. Had to use the side mirrors and prey no unexpected visitors zoomed into my driveway while I was backing out. Probably wasn't too good on the clutch.

That picture is 4 or 5 years old.

THanks for the Compliments, I was considering getting different wheels, but I don't feel too confident now about changing them. I don't want to Change the car, the phone dials are so weird that I can't seem to fall for anything else on the car.

To Me, (and I'm a complex man) it's sort of like giving your Hot as ***** Girl friend a haircut and then she doesn't look the same. Does anyone know what I mean?.. She becomes a New girl friend.. hehee.. I surfed to Tire rack and did the whell thing and nothing looks "right" on the car. I know it's just me, but I'm also one of those a-hole purists. I have a few old guitars and amps that aren't "modded out the ass, and are better for it. So, I may pass..

Cheers, and drive over the B.S. Speed limit it will give the police something to talk about when they explain why they couldn't follow you... hehee..

What a beautiful car! I like the phone dials, but if it had black-centered Fuchs (and since its an '86 - you could) it would be an awesome example of a straight N/A. I guess you could compare that to a super-hot girlfriend going from one great haircut to another......

I guess I could look at it like this..

Imagine that you are "Dating" Charisma Carpenter. She had awesome hair, huge heavy silky hair.. oh GOD!!,
Imagine then, she gets a hair cut.. Hmm.. cool hair-do.. and yes she's still quite the cupcake.. boobies are the same.. smile same.. body... deadly.. O.K> I'll go take another look at new wheels.. but I'm still not confident about changing anything..

"Charisma Carpenter".... yummy

Well I have had her (my 86') looking the same way for about 13 years......Trust me... a change was due.

I couldn't wait to get the phone dials out.

The way I look at it ....its like having Charisma Carpenter wearing some black flat shoes for 13 years.....not that she doesn't look hot....

but after 13 years she looks incredible on the high heels I bought for her..

...and you can't go wrong with 255's on 17" for the rear.

daveimme,
What year is your car? We've had our chat about yellow vs cream, but you're car looks more cream in that photo than I remember.

GT350.....it's in my sig line.......83 n/a 944.....

See, it ain't yellow (the parking stripes are yellow, my car ain't!)

It is nice, actually, I just hate the brown interior.....some of the guys at my mechanics shop say they like 944's, but not that color. I just realized how this is working against me, too:

Seems that on my way home from work the past few weeks, feeling good behind the wheel and zipping and zapping, the 'normal crowd' on the road at that hour, appear to recognize my car; I see gaps closed between them and the car in front as I come motoring up

Took my boy to the ortho's this am.....We saw a nice looking mustang and he was kinda talking about how 'bad' they look and all. Well, he'll be 14 next week and I told him if he behaves, I'll let him drive my car and I would guarantee he'll never look at another mustang again . He's very competetive every time we go woods riding (dirtbike) and has been racing MX pretty good, too, so I know this will be just another blast for him. He, like most young guys we know, have no fear.

You have to remember that I'm from Alabama and we don't read very well. Matter of fact, we don't have a coach!! The old POS coach left us for TX A&M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
