What should I expect? 944 s turbo
I will be looking at a high milage 944 s turbo, and am not mechanically cluless, but am 944 illiterate (Im a 914 guy). What is the price range of a high milage one of these, that hasnt been too badly abused? What price would you jump at if it was only good for a parts car (just for comparisson)?

funny you should ask this now, the admin for the 944 board here just put his high-mileage 944t on ebay, and the auction has just ended. both the high miles & the paint damage contributed to the lowish high bid, even though the car has some good upgrades.
imho, had the paint been intact, this car would have sold, mileage notwithstanding, for $7k+.
