Don't know about that hood scoop, but that guy is in real trouble! "Earl Schibe?" WTF? $600? I bet a closeup would show a ton of overspary, and I doubt if they used flex additive on the front spoiler. I want to see that paint job in a few months.

Scott R: I agree with you and the $600 price tag......it will be interesting to see chunks of clear coat flying of that car at 100 mph.....

88_944: thanks for the link............ The idea of having Ram air on the 944 definitely intrigues me....... but why stop there! I may even look into the shakerhood scoop in the new MACH1..

The hood is an imitation of the 924 Carrera hood. Link

Yo AE1969,
THe Shaker scoop on the new Mach1.. how do I put it.. errrr.. doesn't shake.. it's a cosmetic retro feature.. I sell these cars..

Yes, it's nice but it's not a HUGE 70's Mach 1 at all, it's a new generation of muscle car, it handles like ***** and.. well, it's a mustang, they all feel the same, heavy and sluggish in the cormers, it's a great drag car, but a pig in a wet space suit in the corners.

Hey, I hope I don't piss anyone off.. wait what Am I saying? No one gives a rtas ass what I think hehee..

Those Carrera hoods are AWESOM. I have been considering one for a while now. Not for the air, but just for the style.

That's just a standard 944 hood with the Carrera scoop on it. It's not in the same place as the standard Carrera scoop.

Here's the standard position:

Isn't that where the intake is on a 944? Where else would he put it on a non-turbo? (Not that it's necessary)

I've been thinking about the 924 carrera headlights on my 944. But haven't found any. Has anybody done it to their car?? Or know where I could find them??

Talk to some people who have them first. Everyone who I've talked to says they're worthless for illumination.

I really don't know of anyone who has them or where I can get them. I'd figure they were just hard to get items. I think my stock 944 headlights aren't that good either for lighting so I don't think that it can't get any worse. I really like the sleeker look that those headlights will give my 944 at night. Also more aerodynamic.

GT racing used to make a Carrera GT light kit, maybe they still do.
