I am about to relplace the spark plugs in my '83 944, and am looking for recommendations. It has Bosch Platinums in it now, and I am also looking at the NGK plugs as an option. Any suggestions? Other good choices?

I put in the four prong platinums and actually thought it started rougher - went back to Bosche Silver and LOVE them. I'm using 8mm Magnacore wires with a stock coil and using my new battery rated at 690A.
I imagine that each of these components will effect how a particular plug acts in your car. No matter what you go with, make sure the gap is right.

Go with a quality single post plug. The 2 or 4 electrode plugs are a waste of money. Cheap plugs run a risk of the post breaking off into your cylinder.
Bosch or NGK plugs are quality. The silver conducts better and the platinum should wear better.
