1985.5 gauges quit

I am restoring a 944 1985.5 and the gauges just quit, all of them, the fuse is good. I've been searching the manual at Clark's with no luck, anyone have a suggestion or two, three?

Did the connection behind the cluster come loose? You can see it from under the dash. Three big ol' ribbon cables.

It is a relay under your hood. I will find the one you need and can be swapped with a good horn relay to test..brb
The relay for the instruments is in position G2. You can swap it with the relay from position G13 to test (if your horn works).

The connections at the back could be an issue but it would be kind of weird for them to just all go at once. I mean it would make more sense if one clip broke first rather than the whole thing unplugging.

My speedometer wasn't working below about 50km/hr, it would just jump up to 50 clicks and work above that. It was due to the connection at the back being only half plugged in after one side of the bracket broke.
