Cleaning oil residue from the cooling system
So.. What is the best thing to use for this? I ran a gallon of Castrol Super Clean and about 25 gallons of water through it. Still have some residue in the tank so you know it's everywhere else. Open for suggestions.

For the tank, a 50/50 mix of simple green and water. Throw some rice in it and shake.
I think downy is what is used for flushing the block and radiator. |

When I had a milkshake problem what I found was that the oil migrated to the coolant tank and to the cap and so simply removing the cap every other day or so and wiping off the oil and resulted in dissipating and going away

Well.. I can clean the tank easy.. It's the rest of the system I'm wanting to get the crap out of.. LOL Yes the oil cooler seals and OPRV have been repaired and are not leaking. I've got it full of straight water at the moment.

Just run it for a while and then flush it and refill with coolant.

That is the plan but I was wondering if there was something else I could add to the straight water to help clean it all out.
