Is it safe?

Okey so I've been extremely lucky with this car (85.5 944 na) *sarcasm
Im not going to be able to get it fixed for at least 2-4 months due to my work sched, and me being poor.. the day the water pump blew i filled up with a full tank of gas, and the week before i changed the oil (20w-50 brad penn)
Im curious im planning on starting it 2 or 3 times a week just to get the oil moving so i dont have any seepage, or leaks (hopefully)
is this going to damage the car? im not going to leave it running long enough to get hot, and im not going to rev it any.
any info or advise would be awesome.
also thanks everyone for being super cool and helpful.

2-4 months?
If garaged, don't even bother messing with it while parked.

When the time comes to drive it again just pull the ignition coil wire and run the starter for 10-15 seconds, this will feed oil to the needed spots, then reconnect the wire and run it...Even better to pull the oil filter and pour oil down the hole to "back feed" the oil pump.

Done this when my 944 has been parked for 6+ months at a time...

Even then...I wouldn't even bother.
Just throw a car cover on it, lol...the oil and gas will be fine for that period of time.
