Outside mirrors in wiring diagrams?

Can't find outside mirror wiring for the 83-84 944's in the factory manuals. Only mention is on sheet 4. Just 1 wire, gr/gn 1 mm.
85.2 page shows great detail. Am I blind?

That looks to be for the 85.2 cars, not the 85.1's. Maybe it's the same...

Actually, it is the correct one.

If you look at the wiring for the mirror motor itself, you will notice that there is only one motor and a switching solenoid.

The later mirrors have two motors on each side, and no solenoid.

Yes, the diagram style is early. George, where in the manuals is this? Year and Sheet number?

I don't believe it is in the factory manual. I found it on another list with google. It could be from one of the wiring diagram books (not the service manual).

I'd love to have that page also... Looking at my Vol 4, it appears that Pages 97-36 and 97-38 in the 1984 Section are missing. I leaning toward 97-36 as Page 97-35 shows both electric window controls.

Did some searching and found the source page for the above.

It is located in Volume IV of the service manual, page 7-523

Here's the first half... sorry about the size...
