To help Gordon out on this I have a newer fuel rail, albit a bit shinged, I'll throw in to help out in a trade or such.
Also; Gordon, when are you going to pick up the cassette lid I have? You will need to dye (paint) the vinyl black. And the stock (unbent) sway front sway bar. Also have a power steering rack and pump for sale or trade. It's from an 86.

Gordon
There is a 944 with a blown head in the Recycler $600. I was thinking of checking it out, or maybe we could go together on it? I need to put new disks on my '84 944, I don't know what color or condition the car is in. Just an idea.

Gosh, where you tossers when I needed a shortblock? between the 3 of us that would have been 2 bills apiece! I've already sunk $300 on my rebuild, and about to send another $150 to Florida, of all places. I vow to pee on scott's tires when next I see his car.

Sorry Todd, the "extra" engine I have definitely needs a new crank and valve guides. You did get the auto trans, interior carpet and sunroof stuff.

I did not, nor would I cast any badness or aww darnets in your direction, socal. I have said, and stand by my statement, that you're a godlike substance.

'sokay, my "$100" engine I got from TRE seems do be just fine. Everything seems to be in spec. Throwing new bearings, rings and seals/gaskets in, hell, it'll be like a new motor. I'm happy.
