Question 924 electric windows switches

Has anyone any ideas if the switches are handed?
My problem is the passenger side switch on the drivers side is not working, so I have removed all switches from the door card and swapped them around, now I can get any combination of 2 switched working but I can't get them all to work,I've checked all the switches and they all work so I'm baffled and would appreciate any thoughts on the subject

No, the switches are not "handed."

Suggest to open the switch carefully and clean the internal contacts.
If not that, then possibly broken wires in the tube between the door and the body.

The switches may have been taken apart before and re-assembled incorrectly. When they are put together wrong you can have a host of issues. Here's a link that may help!

Thanks I'll have a look tomorrow, however not sure if that's the problem as all 3 switches work when plugged into the drivers side so I'm thinking that they work OK but having said that I do have a problem so I guess it's best to rule out and get it off the list of possibles.
That's again Chris

Good point Ed, I have run into that also.
I always keep a few "sanity check" switches handy!

These switches are prone to corrosion. Take all 3 apart and clean completely. Easy to do. Costs nothing. Problem solved.
