Hi,
My 1990 944S2, I want to replace aftermarket wire and connector in the picture, do you know the connector part number and diagram.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have any idea what its for?

It looks to me like its some sort of jerry rigged evap purge solenoid (from a Toyota I might add). This is not how the stock system is setup, so I would recommend restoring the system to how it was setup as stock. Remove and re-route the vacuum lines to their original locations and use the actual OEM porsche purge valve and wiring, if thats indeed what it is. Refer to pictures, 944 pet parts catalog/diagrams and information online on how the oem evap setup is configured.

Toyota evap purge valve (looks awfully similar)
